With 5-ply, you get a durable pot that will last a lifetime with all the benefits of stainless steel: low maintenance, suitable for all types of cooking, and no PFAS or other harmful coatings that wear off over time and end up in your food.

The pot provides incredibly even heat distribution thanks to its five-layer construction, rather than the three layers typically found in stainless steel cookware. This prevents hot spots at the bottom of your pot, which can result in burnt food, uneven cooking and separated sauces.

You get effective heat control thanks to the aluminium core, which has excellent heat conductivity and allows you to quickly raise or lower the temperature in the pot. Unlike cookware with a sandwich base, you will find that the heat spreads naturally up the sides of the pan because the entire pan is made of 5-ply – ideal for dishes such as risotto and simmering dishes. The pasta insert is designed to cook perfect pasta without the hassle of pouring boiling pasta water from the pan, which often results in pasta in the sink or boiling water on the hob. The sturdy handles on the insert make it easy to lower it into boiling water without burning yourself, and just as easy to lift the insert out when the food is ready. But the insert isn't just for pasta: use it to blanch asparagus, cook potatoes or boil large quantities of eggs.
